Over the course of my career, I have seen first hand the stress and difficulty my clients experience when facing family law matters. Whether divorce, separation, custody, or other challenges – these issues are often overwhelming, confusing, and deeply personal. That is why I built my practice around guiding families through these transitions with compassion, clarity, and respect. My goal is not only to help clients navigate the legal process, but also to support them in finding solutions that bring stability, peace, and a stronger foundation for the future.

As part of a family of six, my husband and I know firsthand the stress, pressure, and complexity that family responsibilities can bring. This perspective deepens my commitment to collaborative family law, where clients are empowered to lead the conversation and shape their own future. Unlike traditional litigation, which often heightens conflict, the collaborative process reduces hostility, encourages cooperation, and creates outcomes that support lasting partnerships. This approach allows families to move forward with dignity and peace.

Clients often tell me they appreciate not only my ability to explain the process in clear, understandable terms but also my responsiveness and attention to their concerns along the way. I believe that when clients feel heard and supported, they are better able to make thoughtful decisions that create stability for themselves and their families.

Outside of my work, my husband and I enjoy traveling with our four children, walking our dog Cubby, playing pickleball, skiing, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes. These experiences remind me daily of the importance of family, which is at the heart of the work I do.
