Divorce is difficult – even when the decision to separate is a mutual one – and it can generate
more emotions than people can manage. I believe that each and every client needs a
compassionate attorney who will really listen to them, discuss their needs and feelings, and
help guide them through the process. Each person has their own unique circumstances that
they must work through. I have represented clients in North and South Carolina in various
matters including divorce, collaborative divorce, child custody, child support, post-separation
agreements, post-nuptial agreements, third-party custody matters, domestic violence, and
other family law issues.
Collaborative law is a great option whenever possible. It allows for the members involved to
make these extremely important life decisions outside of court. It can save so much in terms
of fees and stress on the family members involved. When children are involved, this is even
more important for their long-term well-being. I very much enjoy what I do as it allows me to
use my skills in resolving conflict and providing fair results to people at a difficult time in their
lives.
