Rachel D. Rogers Hamrick

After graduating from the Citadel, I entered into the United States Air Force where I served six years. At the end of my time in the military, I decided to follow my dream of entering the legal field. My parents were very influential in my decision to pursue a career in the law as my father was a member of the clergy and my mother was a counselor—in my mind, these were all careers that had the power to help people through difficult times.

During my second career in the law, I have served clients in the courtroom, in depositions, in mediations, and in arbitrations, but I believe there is nothing more helpful than pursuing a collaborative separation and divorce. In contrast to litigation, collaborative law allows you to take the front seat in problem-solving, delving into needs and concerns, keeping things transparent, and putting your family first.

I am passionate about family law and I am even more passionate about family law using the collaborative approach.
